Lime is very anti-mucaliptic. I would try the lavender, peppermint and lime instead of lemon.  I would also try swishing the mixture in your mouth before swallowing. And put the same mixture in your Hands and cup and inhale. Do it every hour or so till you get relief..

I believe my seasonal allergies have come later this year unless it's a cold. I normally don't get a cold in May so guessing it's allergies. I have done a small glass of lavendar, peppermint, & lemon quite often the last 2 days. My nose just keeps running & I'm getting tired of it. Also have put peppermint by my sinus area as well. I ended up giving in last night, which I didn't want to & took some over the counter stuff for allergies. Any suggestions would help & be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
