I have struggled all my life with allergies. One of the most effective things I do that helps, is get on top of them first. That would mean for three or four times I would do 2 drops lemon, 2 drops lavender, and 2 drops peppermint in a swish of water, swish and swallow, then do the same thing 15 or 20 minutes later, then do it again 20 min. later. Do that if you have to three or four times and then get on top of it and then you can "gap" it, (meaning you don't have to do it that often ALL day, just till you get on top of it then maybe take at noon and at night, whatever the need is) Once you get on top of it it is much easier to deal with. Also, you can take basil and also rub it on your nose and it takes care of the runny nose faster than anything else we have found with my son. If you need a little more "umph" in the allergy blend, add 2 drops melaleuca to the allergy blend. Hope that helps, that is just what works wonderfully for me.

I believe my seasonal allergies have come later this year unless it's a cold. I normally don't get a cold in May so guessing it's allergies. I have done a small glass of lavendar, peppermint, & lemon quite often the last 2 days. My nose just keeps running & I'm getting tired of it. Also have put peppermint by my sinus area as well.
