[Everything doTERRA] Re: Hemochromotosis

You can go to this link to see a couple suggested heavy metal cleanses (Dr. Hill and Dr. Lawton) but make certain you do your research before jumping in to do a cleanse. I don't know if either of these protocols are effective for iron.

Here's what I do know. I attempted to do these cleanses simultaneously and lasted less than two weeks before I quit. I had no known heavy metal issues when I started, but apparently I had some detoxing to do. My symptoms were not anything I was willing to live with at the time: It started with my left index finger itching, then swelling a bit, then feeling kind of tight. This just kept going and spread through both of my hands. They itched, burned and were so swollen I had difficulty bending my fingers. When I finally figured out what was going on I immediately stopped the cleanse.

My ignorance, and enthusiasm, made for some poor decisions. The next time, I'll start slowly and do only one of the cleanses and pay very close attention to the signals I get from my body.

I have to get regular phlebotomies to keep my iron levels very low. What are you thoughts of essential oils removing this metal from my body???
