Riki, I also like to layer Lime over the Breathe. It really enhances the effectiveness for me. If you have someone who can put it on your spine between the shoulder blades, it works very quickly.  Of course if you are alone inhaling it or putting it on your feet is also good.  And don't forget about the antihistamine characteristic of Lavender.  I am always amazed at the effectiveness of Lavender, especially when used with the allergy shots of Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint!  Good luck.  We are having a lot of Cedar allergies here in East Texas this year, so many of my clients have had issues with asthma and allergies too.
