Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Candida...HELP!

I'll be the first to admit I am not a smoothie expert. A lot of high sugar fruits can definitely feed candida. I know carrots and beets have a lot of sugars too. Berries and granny smith apples are low sugar. Bananas are definitely a no no. Perhaps someone else knows how much sugar is in the green smoothies or it may depend on the fruit you are adding.
I'm working from memory without digging through my files but when I was diagnosed with candida it was via a blood test. The normal range is huge but once you are in the 'high' range it takes a very long time to get back into normal. For example I believe my test result was 1.1 (over .99 is high) and it took six months of a religious diet to get to .99). Sadly once you hit a level like that you will have to follow a candida type diet for the rest of your life because you are prone to it.

Thanks Dave and Gin.  I appreciate your help.  I do not eat the "white nasties" but I am wondering if the natural sugars in fruit could be the culprits.  I have had candida for years so I know it will take awhile to get rid of...I just don't know if all the foods I am eating are "safe" while trying to cleanse, ie: all the fruits in my green smoothies. Any thoughts?

Does your diet include white flour, white rice or sugar? All those feed candida. A well established candida infection isn't going to go away with one GX Cleanse. It takes years to get to the point where it starts to do damage and it takes a long time to get rid of. If you do the cleanse and work on the diet you'll see gradual improvement. I do the cleanse quarterly. You need to give the PB a chance to do its work. I would also take the PB daily except for when you are doing GX. Many docs recommend probiotics daily now.
In my opinion dairy and proteins are fine. Proteins don't feed candida, however, limit the amount of fat on your proteins if it is animal based. Avoid fat free or reduced fat products they frequently use corn syrup or other nasty chemicals to replace the fat.

What should I do if I have just completed the GX cleanse and the spit test still shows there is candida? ... Wait a week and do another GX cleanse or follow up with the PB and do another GX in a month?
Also, my diet is good except for my protein source for breakfast I have either eggs or the Trim shake with either almond or rice milk.  Could these be the dairy sources that prevent the candida cleanse?

Are you meaning the GX? And yes it does no good to do a cleanse and continue putting foods in your body that build the yeast.
Stay away from dairy and white flour and any processed food.

So you can just do the BC assist and pb?  Don't you have to also cleanse and watch watch what you eat?
