[Everything doTERRA] Re: Lavender as endocrine/androgen disruptor?

I believe it is the synthetic Lavender that mimics estrogen.  Pure lavender does not.
I have come across one older gentleman that has said he can no longer use pure lavender oil after years of use of YL oil.

I had someone recently express concern about Lavender being an endocrine disruptor, and the risk of inhibiting androgen levels, and boosting estrogen levels.

A quick search brought up this report from the National Institute of Health (NIH): http://www.nih.gov/news/pr/jan2007/niehs-31.htm

Should Men be concerned about using Lavender topically and internally?

I myself am a user of Lavender, and know its medicinal uses, but I'm also male, and am a little concerned.

Anyone know much about this issue?
