[Everything doTERRA] Re: Post partum depression

Being there, listening, and supporting her can be huge at this time. I like the idea of trying to give her some "sleep" time. Does she have a support system to help with the other two children where she is not trying to manage ALL of them while her hormones get a chance to level? Upon reading this post, Frankincense jumped to mind. And for some reason, Basil. Don't know where that is coming from. For the depression factor, I personally respond well to geranium. I hear vetiver is very powerful. Lavender. Serenity. What about the other female specific blends and supplements? Praying now. Set up an "emergency" system. . .where someone can relieve her "when it hits" and she can relax in a candlelit bath with salts and oils. Sometimes when it gets soooo overwhelming and "hits" all at once, a few minutes reprieve can work wonders.

My best friend just had her 3rd baby three months ago... She's been
having a Really hard time with things.
She has some pretty bad days and says it scares her because she gets
suicidal feelings and yells at her kids and breaks down crying.  This
is NOT her... she's such a fun and happy person and I've never seen
her like this in all the years we've been friends.  She's pretty sure
that it's her hormones.  I've given her Balance and Elevation to help
her out... she says most days she's fine but when it hits, it seems
like these oils don't help as much as she needs.  What other oils
should I suggest?  She's breastfeeding and doesn't want to go to the
doctor for this for fear that they will suggest a prescription...
she's not one that wants to be dependant on a drug.  I love this girl
so much and want to help her.
Any suggestions would be Awesome :)

Thanks!
