There are a lot of oils that can be used to clear up eczema. This is what I would recommend for a baby.
Option 1. Melaleuca and Lavender
Option 2. Melaleuca and Roman Chamomile (this is my favorite for Baby Acne and Hives and from what I just searched some Moms love it for Eczema also)
Option 3. Clear Skin
Option 4. Immortelle
Mix 5 to 10 drops of Essential Oil to One Tablespoon Fractionated Coconut Oil. Place in glass container of some sort as not all of it will be used at once. Rub one to two drops of mixture on location of eczema or on bottoms of feet (covered with socks afterward.) Dilute more if needed.
If her baby has open sores or his skin is just really tender I recommend applying to feet to begin with and then as it clears up she can apply to his face. (I use cotton balls and gentle swab the oils on my baby's face)
If it were me I would try one option at a time, not all at the same time. Give each option at least two to three weeks, if no change than select a different option.
