I am new to doTERRA, but I was advised from the get-go to have a shipping date on the 5th or later. I think this makes sense given what I have read. I don't need a clock to tell me when its dinnertime so I don't think I need a calendar to tell me when its winter. This is my way of saying that if you need to get your order shipped on the first of the month you should really relax a bit, you will benefit from letting go of the calendar as your master. Not to mention that you will be able to take advantage of the monthly freebies with ease if you ship on the 5th!

 What day is today? Oh, its the first. I have four more days to take advantage of the offers posted today. Cool!
