I think it just means the root is dying and there's no oxygen getting to it. I would not pull it if it can be avoided. It will affect the next tooth growing in and you're pretty much going to have to get braces. I don't think leaving a dead baby tooth in will affect her health (not like an adult tooth & root canals!!!!). Still I would ask a holistic dentist to be sure.--
