the hernia only formed because of previous surgery which had created
scar tissue that "failed" and now there is an intestinal 'bulge'), the
intestines (large, in this case) 'bulge' out where the hernia is
located. I believe that tissue can heal , without additional surgery,
and I further believe that surgery to 'repair' the hernia is likely to
just create a greater possibility of FURTHER herniation down the
road. I'll get some Helicrysum!
