[Everything doTERRA] Re: Anemia

I am anemic as well and I use the oils, LLV, Iron supplementation,
acupuncture, foods high in iron and herbs to regulate. Coffee, black
tea, and lack of high quality protein can deplete iron levels. When my
levels were really low, I got Iron IV's from my Naturopath. Has she
looked into that?

Also, you might point her towards the emotional aspect of anemia. From
Louise Hay's book "Heal Your Body" anemia is caused by a "yes, but"
attitude. Lack of joy. Fear of life. Not feeling good enough. Her
healing affirmation is "It is safe for me to experience joy in every
area of my life. I love life."

Is she experiencing anxiety or stress? I notice those emotional
imbalances can lead to disrupted digestion which leads to unabsorbed
nutrients.

--Vetiver increases white blood cell counts and Lemon is supposed to
help with anemia. Helichrysum stops hemorrhaging.

--TerraZyme from doTERRA to make sure food is being properly digested
and nutrients assimilated.

--I can't rave enough about 2-4 drops under the tongue of
Frankincense. I think all health problems can benefit from this.

--Iron Citrate from Thorne is a great Iron supplement and my Dr. has
me on 100 mg a day and I experience no stomach problems from it. It is
inexpensive as well.

--Nettle is a good blood builder. Here is a nice recipe for a
pregnancy tea that includes nettle: http://center4cby.com/herbal-recipes
Also, look up the book by Susun Weed "Childbearing Years". She has
great herbal remedies in there.

--Is she eating meat at least 3 times a week and munching on almonds,
dried fruit, kale, spinach, and adding molasses to her smoothies? Here
is my super Iron green smoothie recipe, I do this for breakfast every
day.

1 frozen banana
2 fresh kale leafs
1 Handfull of Spinach
1 Leaf of Romain lettuce
1 cup of apple juice
1 cup of almond milk
1 tablespoon of almond butter
1 cup of frozen blueberries
1 Tablespoon of fresh ground flax seed
4 drops of doTERRA Wild Orange EO
1 tablespoon of molasses

--Vitamin C must be taking in conjunction with Iron for the body to
properly absorb the Iron. I always take my Iron with a big glass of
orange juice.

Good luck to your friend!
