she felt a pulsating pressure and pain coming from the bottom of her
neck towards her head. It was as if it was coming in rushing waves.
She felt a substantial pressure in the first half hour which then
subsided but both the neck and the head continued to be in pain with a
pulsating sensation. It really freaked her out - she never had
anything like that before. She lied down and put some Peppermint on
the back of her neck and forehead but it didn't help. When I came from
work (2.5 hrs later) the pain was still there. I had her lie down and
put Frankincense on the back of neck, forehead and the bottom of feet.
I then used Eucaliptus in the same manner. After a few minutes she
said it alleviated the pain quite a bit. Within an hour the pain
started to return. Her vision was also affected for about 2 hrs -
blurry vision. When she woke up early for work (at 4 am) the pain was
back with the same pulsating sensation and pressure. After working for
not even half hour she had to stop (luckily she works from home) and
had to lay down. She went to sleep and after about 3 hrs she woke up
and now it hurts less; she can also turn her head left and right a lot
more than last night, but the neck stiffness is still there. We don't
have diagnosis yet - we are going to see a doctor later today. We are
also somewhat new to oils (last 3 months) and believe there has to be
a remedy using doTERRA oils once we know what this is. If anyone can
identify these symptoms and knows what could be
causing it and what oils to use please share.
One more thing - about 4 years ago she had an incident when she lost
ability to speak for about 10 minutes and then it was back to normal.
She also experienced abnormal vision before in several isolated
incidents which lasted about 1 hr each time. She saw a doctor and had
an MRI but nothing showed. We believe those incidents with speech and
vision were related to a car accident she was in about 5 years ago
where she may have suffered from a mild concussion.
Thank you.
