Re: [Everything doTERRA] lower back pain using Wintergreen or other oil?

If you have very sensitive skin you'll want greater dilution otherwise a one-to-one ratio should be fine. I've found that some areas of skin are more sensitive than others (throat area for me is more sensitive than my hands, etc).  If you don't want to have to dilute each time you use it you could blend the FCO (or other carrier oil) and Lemongrass in a roller bottle or spray bottle to the strength that you prefer.

If you have difficulty reaching back behind you to massage the oils in you may want to try spraying it on then placing a warm (not hot) damp cloth over it for a few minutes - this will help drive the oils in.

You can't use just any spray bottles because the oils can degrade the plastic which in turn degrades the oils. Here's where I get my roller bottles and spray bottles: www.aromareadyproducts.com or their sister company www.aromatools.com.  I've found their pricing to be best for me, plus they understand the EO world so I'm certain that their products are compatible with the EO's.

I've also found White Fir to help with pain AND I love the smell.

Let me know how you're doing.

Thanks for your response.  I'll try the lemongrass since I do have some of that.  Can you give me the dilution to use with FCO?  I'm pretty new to all this.  Weather has delayed my order for Wintergreen and Frankincense for over 5 days now.

I've found Lemongrass helpful with aching muscles and joints. If you have sensitive skin be certain to dilute as it can be a hot oil.

heat helps and some homeopathic arnica tabs under tongue.
is there anything else that would help  this sort of  back pain.

really like doterra oils,  have not been using them very long
but they do get good results.  much better than drugstore pills
and less harmful to the body.

I think it Watson the Essential Oil University Facebook page that I read birch is virtually impossible to get anymore and that Wintergreen is an excellent substitute, very similar in make up. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Everything doTERRA" group.
