I'm not sure why he used it so many times and for what purpose but I am sure he has a sensitivity problem due to the power of the lavender. If he has any of doTerra's lotion (without any of the bad stuff) I would suggest he put a small amount of lotion with the fractionated coconut oil in the lotion and gently put it on the red area at least once a day.

It has been over a month and he still has redness and the skin stings when ever he tries to put anything on it.
