[Everything doTERRA] Ulcerative colitis and DigestZen

Has anyone had success with using DigestZen for ulcerative colitis?

I have a friend who has a severe case. This winter, she's been in the hospital quite sick, facing anemia and other issues. Her previous medication has quit working; she's on new meds, but they are not working that well. She is facing surgery in a month for removal of the colon.

Any advice?
