Our essential oils have anti-oxidant properties, so it will not
oxidate. However, base oils in other essential oils (unless they are
fractionated coconut oil), definitely can oxidate. I suppose that
quality "essential oils" could contain some kind of perservative to
prevent oxidation but they would definitely not be pure, therapeutic
quality.
