then it is not likely to be an issue. For example, a person who is
allergic to Birch pollen will not likely react to Birch oil because it
is made from the bark, not the flowers. If he is allergic to resin,
then I would not use any oils from the conifer family, or even
Frankincense (I have a friend who reacts really badly to Frankincense--
she is allergic to resin).
If he can't tolerate Balance, look at what she wants to achieve with
Balance, and see what other oils may help. For example, Patchouli is
great for neurological issues, and Vetiver is excellent for calming.
For really sensitive people, I like to use single oils because it is
obvious right away if there is a problem with a particular oil.
It would be a good idea to deal with the allergies. I would start the
child on PB Assist+ to populate the gut with good bacteria. I would
also have him drink water with Peppermint and Lemon or Wild Orange
every day. Testing for heavy metal toxicity would also be a good idea.
If heavy metals are an issue, then work with a good naturopath to
detox. You can get a recipe for a delicious chelation pesto online
(google it), and you can also use Far Infrared therapy to help detox.
