Re: [Everything doTERRA] Aroma Touch Therapy in Spas

If you really want some inside information, You should contact Brianne Hovey. She is actually doing the ATT in Orlando in March. She is the one that actually started the spadoterra.

As far as getting ATT into a spa, it all depends on the owners. They are either very excited about it, or don't want anything to do with you. I learned from experience...LOL.

I am not a massage therapist and cannot charge for my services, but I can charge for the use of the oils. And I only ask for donations of 20.00. Legally, in the state of Florida, this is all I can do. I have done over 100 ATT's with repeat customers, and can only do friends and family. Only those who actually know me. This is because of the "TOUCH" factor in this state

.I cannot make appointments with complete strangers, so I have to get to know someone. Or if I get a referral, I make sure they understand that I am not a massage therapist, I do not have a license, but need for them to sign a waiver before even starting. And I have only done an ATT on three men, the rest have all been women.

It only takes me 30 to 35 minutes to do a session. I do this in a spa and also at a chiropractor's office where I invite my friends to come. I have also gone to people's homes if they can't get to me. I work by appointment only.

It is best to not combine the ATT with massage therapy because of the intensity of the oils, and the light touch you should have with the ATT. But everyone is different.  The best training is to go to an ATT certification. If you are a massage therapist, you will get CEU credits. The training gives you a Manuel, which I used for about two weeks straight till I got the technique memorized. Now I could do it in my sleep. I did my first 10 for free for experience and let my friends know that I needed practice and would they mind if I used them to train on. Everyone was very compliant and wanted more.

I hope this answered some of your questions. Be Blessed and get out there and get Certified.

Subject: [Everything doTERRA] Aroma Touch Therapy in Spas

Hello Informative Oilers! I need some information to help a client of mine asap.

How long does it take to do the full Aroma Touch Therapy Technique (ATT)? Any info on where I can get more tools/info on this technique? (Besides the video it comes with and the class that you can do in Utah).

How do other Spas (as in Massage places) incorporate ATT in the massage service they provide? Do they add it on to an hour massage or is it a separate treatment?

How much do they charge or how much extra do they charge for ATT? Please let me know what city or State and give me an idea of location (big city, suburbs, country, etc.)

How many ATT sessions can you get from one ATT kit?

I'm really looking for any information you can give me on Aroma Touch Therapy Technique.

Thanks so much!!!

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Urinary Tract Infection

I will help with the Uti and the DZ will help, you can take 3-4 drops with water internally and rub some on the bowel area of your stomach. Good for drinking the Cranberry Juice.
As for the Frank  you are probably okay with the capsule only.

Yes, I am drinking lots of water and 1/2 cup cranberry juice 3 x day.

The capsule I am taking has 2 d Frankincense in it.  Would I still need it under my tongue?

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: I am so irritated!

Someone shared this with me, so I thought I would pass it along.
The best remedy that we found was applying melaleuca on the bottom of the feet at night, and taking both PB Assist and Terra Zyme capsules.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Urinary Tract Infection

You can take the oil blend as often as you need too.

Digest Zen would be very good for the diarrhea. Are you drinking a lot of water with lemon to help flush the toxins? The lemon will also help with the tired feeling.
Soak in a hot tub using some epson salt that you have put Citrus Bliss and Elevation in, soak as long as you can and drink lots of water.

It also would not hurt to take a few drops of Frankincense under the tongue.

I have noticed the same thing with the  2 d frankincense, 6 d On Guard, 6 d oregano in a capsule three times a day.  I feel worse before it's time to take the next dose, and I can feel the difference after I have taken the oils.  Can I safely increase the frequency, instead of every 8 hours take them every 4 hours?

My symptoms are tiredness, weakness in my legs, tingling in my head, arms and legs which feels like stress, my head is foggy, and my upper back just below my ribs gets very tired and I have to go lie down.  I have had these symptoms for a long time (weeks or even months) but didn't know what was causing them until a week ago.  A urinalysis was positive for infection.

DIARRHEA:  For the last 4 to 6 weeks I have had watery diarrhea, which I attributed to detox.  I have a cardiac ablation scheduled next week, and I would like to get the diarrhea cleared up before I have the procedure.  I had a stool culture done, which was negative.  My doctor gave me Cholestrymine, a cholesterol-lowering drug that they say just happens to be very good for diarrhea.  I as told to wean off the Cholestrymine a little every week, but as soon as I decrease the dose, the loose stools return.  Would peppermint help?

It looks like I have a lot of oils on board which could potentially cause more detox diarrhea.  If I go back to my doctor, she is likely to tell me to take the full dose of Cholestrymine until after the procedure.

I would appreciate any comments.

Ileen

I am thinking I would love a few hundred bottles.

Blue Tansy has my vote!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Male infertility

They should all be taking 5000 IU of vitamin D. Check out www.vitamindcouncil.org.
I get their newsletter regularly, and the latest one was on
infertility and vitamin D. Here is an excerpt:

"Every year, billions are spent in fertility clinics; the result of
which is often in vitro fertilization (IVF). About 5 years ago, I
began receiving emails from a nurse practitioner in Indiana who works
in a fertility clinic. Her experience was dramatic; 5,000 IU/day for
both the man and woman frequently resulted in a healthy baby. However,
her last email to me was quite sad, she was in danger of losing her
job as her boss, a gynecologist, was losing money due to vitamin D. He
ordered her to stop advocating it or lose her job.

Today, the Daily Mail and several other newspapers reviewed a lengthy
article in The European Journal of Endocrinology that concluded,
"Given the high prevalence of infertility as well as vitamin D
insufficiency in otherwise healthy young women and men and the
possible role of vitamin D in human reproduction, research might lead
to new therapeutic approaches such as vitamin D supplementation in the
treatment of female and male reproductive disorders."

There is more on this, but that gives you an idea of how important
vitamin D is to fertility.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Urinary Tract Infection

UTI:  I believe that the antibiotic wears off about an hour before the 12 hours it up, because I feel a lot worse; then about 45 minutes to 1 hour after taking it, I feel much improved.

Ileen

[Everything doTERRA] Blue Tansy

Does anyone know why doTERRA does not have Blue Tansy or if we will soon?  I know it is in balance and deep blue but I have read it is terrific on its own for environmental allergies, reduces itchy/swelling, promotes rapid healing, prevents scarring, relieves muscle pain, strains and helps rheumatism and sciata.

I am thinking I would love a few hundred bottles.

Blue Tansy has my vote!

I don't really want to take IB.  Is there an oil or combo I can take that will do the same thing...or better?

I have looked at the protocol for sciatica.  Would love to have ATT often, but that's just not an option right now.  Will try finding the spot on my bum and massaging the oils in myself...lemongrass, birch, frankincense.

Just wondering if there is an anti-inflammatory protocol that can take the place of IB.

So, would geranium be a good thing for acne?  My teen son has it pretty badly, and the foaming face wash and clear skin are not helping.  He took a round of the Zendocrine about a month ago....that didn't seem to help any, either.

I'm about at my wit's end for him...he keeps his cool, but I know it has to bother him to have so many break-outs.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Titanium Plates(inserted into the body), Hip replacements, Breast Implants, Teeth Fillings.

No. The only one that could be a concern is the fillings if they were
leaking or causing problems but it wouldn't effect the oils, just the
individuals health.

Thanks, everyone.   This group is truly an amazing gift!

Re: [Everything doTERRA] [No Subject]

I had a feeling that you did not mean "another doterra" so thanks for clarifying.
It's also nice to see those who jumped in to protect doTerra thinking that is what you
meant.

Internet is the link to http://www.modenseine.com/it.realy.php?SID=195.
That was the one I was tempted to give a go as we are tight
financially at the moment.  When I said that 'if something looks too
good to be true, it usually is' was certainly NOT doTERRA (ha, ha).

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Rheumatism and Arthritis

According to Dr Hill the supplements are the very answer to your Mom's health situation. Also the Deep Blue Rub is amazing for relief as is the peppermint.

Note: Its nice to see you on the forum again, it seems like we missed you for a while.

Blessings all!
I am staying with my mom at the moment who has Rheumatism and
Arthritis which I have never dealt with. I have been using Deep Blue
rub, Wintergreen, Lemongrass and also doing the Aromatouch with her,
but she is still in pain.

Would the doterra supplements help? I bought her some gulcosamene and
condrointon with MSN as well as some turmeric and she started on those
yesterday.

Really not sure what to do, She has been up all night for the past few
days and she is having a hard time of it.

Thank you for any thoughts.

Love and hugs,
Joanna

Re: [Everything doTERRA] SEPTIC INTESTINE

Your are a good and kind friend and I love your choices of oils, each of them powerful in their own rights.
I hope they will let you at least apply Frankincense and/or Balance.

Dear doTERRA members,

One of my good girlfriends has been hospitalized and in coma from
septic intestine.
She had drug and alcohol issues before and has been taking a healthy
lifestyle these days, so I am very sadden to hear this news.

I am not even sure if I could get to see her but she loved doTERRA and
was very excited to grow her business.
So, I am preparing some oils to use on her if allowed.

I made my suggestions below but I would like to hear if someone would
like to add something else.
Thank you for your input in advance and I would appreciate your prayer
for my friend.

* Frankincense internally (drop it under her tongue), aromatically,
and topically (head stem, feet, belly)
* Sandalwood topically
* Balance topically
* Purify, aromatically and topically (feet and belly )
* On Guard, aromatically and topically (feet and belly)
