I don't know of an essential oil with properties that make the blood less viscous but I do know that Juniper Berry is a great support for kidney function. Frankincense and Helichrysum are also good alternatives for equipping the body to fight.

My step-father was told one of the three in the LLV pack could interfere, but the other two were fine. You can buy the bottles individually if that's the case.
Is the staph infection internal or external? Melaleuca helps the body fight infections so with an external infection I'd apply it on the surrounding area. I say "surrounding area" because I've heard that you should not apply EO's directly to an open wound. But I don't know if that's true - can someone confirm or correct that please?
doTERRA's Correct X has replaced Neosporin/Triple Antibiotic in our home, it's a rather incredible product.
There is a three-day protocol that I've used instead of an antibiotic that has proved effective for me. Make certain that none of these oils interfere with any medications this gentleman may be taking. (My husband has been on about 6 cardiac maintenance meds for almost 16 years now and has had no difficulty with the oils but we checked things out first.)

I am trying to help a man who has been prescribed Coumadin after heart valve surgery. He's been taking it for a while, and is having problems with his kidneys working properly. He has somehow contracted a staph infection, and the anti biotic that the doctor prescribed has caused his blood to thicken (working against the Coumadin), and he is feeling very ill. His wife is learning about essential oils, and would like to know if it is possible that he could replace the Coumadin with a DoTerra oil, that would alleviate the stress on his kidneys. Do you know of any oil that we could introduce (1-2 drops per day) and possibly wean him off of the Coumadin eventually, or even lessen the daily dosage? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
