I've heard, as well as read in Modern Essentials, that the Elevation blend is good for poison oak. Unfortunately (or not) I have no firsthand experience.
A friend's son did get it, and we applied Elevation and saw immediate skin improvement, itching decreased significantly, and she ordered a bottle on the spot. This was in the late afternoon, I left her a sample, but by nighttime the itching was back. He did sleep extra that night, which she said he hadn't been sleeping well before (not sure how many days into this he was, and he'd already tried various other suggested remedies).
I'd still try it, ideally caught earlier ;-) not sure if it would prevent.
