-- There is a very good book I recommend you should get: "The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook" by Clair Davies. It is a self treatment book for pain. (One example is if you had a trigger point in a muscle in your back or shoulder to put a tennis ball in a tube sock & nail or hook to a wall. You would then work the ball repeatedly into your muscle to release the knot)
A good Chiropractor or Massage Therapist should also be experienced in working out trigger points. Carol mentioned in previous post about using an essential oil blend to work into her muscles. That sounds like a great idea massaging in the oils while focusing on the trigger points also.
