The lady has had doctors diagnose that it is the parotid nerve that is causing the itching. She has been checked for food allergies - I don't know which test. The itching usually happens as she is eating or shortly after. Occasionally the nerve will start itching while she is talking. This is a major you have to rub it itch. She also had some of her own fat taken and surgically put in around the nerve. This did not help. Could this be caused by a deep inner ear infection affecting the fluid in her ear canal? She is not having any other nerve symptoms in her face or head. Thanks

Hi,I have a lady trying to calm her parotid nerve. This nerve is mostly in front of the ear. Her nerve goes into severe itching after eating. She is on coumadin so by the time she is done rubbing the spot she is bleeding through the skin. Aroma touch blend made it worse, lavender helps a little. Any ideas? Thanks
