I agree with Carla. You need full thyroid testing, including antibodies ( TSH, T4, T3, reverse T3). Hashimotos also looks hypothyroid. If your doc won't do it, find a functional medicine doc, or a naturopath, or integrative med doc. The Thyroid Summit was excellent and worth the buying price if you missed it. Conventional docs don't do further testing because the protocol is the same for them-- Synthroid, or synthetic T4. This only works for a small population. I wasted years trying to get a doc to go beyond the TSH. I encourage you to not wait. Wish I knew an oil protocol that worked. Maybe someone else can help with that.
