[Everything doTERRA] Diverticulitis

One of the protocols I had printed from the old Oils Mentor site was for Diverticulitis and goes as follows:  Cinnamon 2 drops, 

Lavender 2 drops with hand and body lotin and rub around the core of your abdomen, apply often.  Use GX Assist and loose white flour to clear hardened matter from intestinal track...drink water, water, water. 

I need clarification on the loose white flour....How would that be used?
