You will have to decide for yourself really what you feel comfortable with. We can't really tell you it is safe or not in my opinion but we can share what we do and how we use it.

I was told that if the bottle has a "supplement facts" on it, then it's safe to ingest. Also, ME doesn't have any suggestions for ingesting it, so I didn't know. I always thought it would be yummy to put in my water, but since it didn't say it was safe on the bottle, I figured it wasn't.
