My heart goes out to that family. There is a family in my area with a 10 month old going through the same thing. In this little one's life the radiation treaments are every 2 weeks which is usually the time frame in which one needs to wait before applying oils. Since radiation kills everything, applying oils anytime is a waste. If the toddler is receiving the same type of treatment than it is better to wait until the radiation treatment is completely done OR if there is a lag of more than two weeks in between treatments..
What is vitality important is to keep everyone around the toddler healthy. Diffuse onguard in the air, make sure family members are using onguard to boost their immune systems too.
