I also use the crystal stick like Heather mentioned--it stops the odor for me, period.  I frequently give my body a few days off and the first is OK, by the second can tell my 'vacation' needs to be over!  As for the perspiration itself, it doesn't seem like my underarms get wet, but I still sweat freely over the rest of my body--have heard speculation that this is just the body's way of making sure it still gets rid of what it should be...  BTW, one stick will last me for several years!  I get it at the local health food store, used to carry it at Target but no longer--the link you sent looks like the same type of thing, Linda, tho not the brand I use.  TIP--if you use it make sure your underarm area is wet, or the stick is, it doesn't slide otherwise! ;-)
