[Everything doTERRA] Re: Post partum depression

In defense of prescription meds I have have muscle tested multiple times for the antidepressant I am currently taking and EVERY time it has been an overwhelming positive for it. Even my chiropractor, who told me that very few people actually NEED antidepressants, was VERY surprised when I tested strongly positive with my antidepressant. I feel the oils and the LLV support my antidepressant and help it to work better. But this is just my experience. It would be wonderful if the oils would do it for her. I would suggest exploring oils for hormone balance as well, like Clary Sage or Geranium. These helped me tremendously after my birth 10 months ago. She must use them often and consistently. Also having the full arsenal of Mood oils plus understanding the Mood Matrix has been crucial for helping me stay in balance with my emotions.

I also STRONGLY recommend that she talk to a counselor. Treating the chemical PLUS the mental is so much more effective than just one or the other.

My best friend just had her 3rd baby three months ago... She's been
having a Really hard time with things.
She has some pretty bad days and says it scares her because she gets
suicidal feelings and yells at her kids and breaks down crying.  This
is NOT her... she's such a fun and happy person and I've never seen
her like this in all the years we've been friends.  She's pretty sure
that it's her hormones.  I've given her Balance and Elevation to help
her out... she says most days she's fine but when it hits, it seems
like these oils don't help as much as she needs.  What other oils
should I suggest?  She's breastfeeding and doesn't want to go to the
doctor for this for fear that they will suggest a prescription...
she's not one that wants to be dependant on a drug.  I love this girl
so much and want to help her.
Any suggestions would be Awesome :)

Thanks!
