This could possibly be a stye if it doesn't look "taggy" which is an
infection caused by a blockage. She may want to try one drop each of
lavender layered with melaleuca around the eye socket morning and
night for a couple of weeks. I would be careful not to get this into
the eye and expect some watering.
I hope she has great success with this. Please let us know if she
decides to try it.
