My dad (a dentist) spent an evening sitting by one of the leading researchers on carpal tunnel at a dinner event. This gentleman told him that the number one thing for carpal tunnel was to strengthen and exercise the upper back, particularly between the shoulder blades. This is where the nerve pinching and tension originate. I would look for oils high in esters (like Ylang Ylang and Birch) and Aldehydes (anti-inflammatory) and rub one drop with coconut oil in this location 3x's day. The ME book is a good reference for this. Also the exercise that is considered "reverse sit-ups" where you stand in a cradle with your hands behind your head and bend forward and then pull yourself back up to a plank position, is the best thing for strengthening this area of the body. Good luck! --
