[Everything doTERRA] Re: Pregnancy and LLV, other EOs.

Thank you! I am going to purchase this book. Greatly appreciate the recommendation!

The book has a lot of cautions that a few doctors we work with say are totally unnecessary so I really love the book Essential Oils for Pregnancy Birth and Babies by Stephanie Fritz.  My personal favorite.  It has great information in it.  Very well thought out.

Hello everyone!

Finding this group today was perfect timing. I just took a positive pregnancy test (okay, THREE positive pregnancy tests!) and now I have questions! I have a 14 month old who is still nursing and I have been on the LLV for a few months, I am curious if I should continue them while pregnant? Also, if the answer is yes--what else will I need to add (I'm thinking a folic acid supplement? anything else?)

Also, any general info about oils to avoid while pregnant would be appreciated. I'm doing all the reading up I can on everythingessential.me & my Modern Essentials book is due to arrive in the mail today.

Thanks in advance for your input, everyone!

[Everything doTERRA] Oils to clean car?

Silly question maybe, but has anyone use oils to clean their dashboard or doors, anything in the interior of their cars?
I am dying to use some but my hubby said they may break down the materials in the dash so I wanted advice first as we JUST bought a brand new car 6 weeks ago and would hate to mess it up! We do not use chemicals in our home and my dash is pretty dusty!
If not oils, on guard cleaner, maybe??

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Pregnancy

LLV is great during pregnancy. I used it in stead of a pre-natal. GX Assist and Mito2Max are not ideal for pregnancy (you don't want to detox while pregnant of nursing). I was at convention when Mito2Max was introduced and recall it was said not to use during pregnancy but I do not know why. As for sources of information I Stephanie Fritz book and used that a lot.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Airplane Travel

Thank you, Suzanne.  I'll use two ziplocks.  Just needed some re-assurance.  These oils are kind of precious, especially when you use one or two consistently (as in for my children).  :-)

I just traveled from the states to Italy with some in my checked luggage and some in a ziplock bag in my carryon. I had no problems going through security or with leakage. The bottles in the ziplock had all been previously opened. I think I had about 8 of the 15 ml bottles and a couple of rollons in the ziplock. The only problem I had was with an opened bottle of fco that leaked a little in my checked bag. Luckily I had it in two ziplocks so it didn't go everywhere. Sz

Can anyone give some advice on airplane travel with essential oils?  Only using my oils for a couple months, I've not yet traveled with them (having to go through the rigors of airport security).  Of course, common sense governs, but the bottles can be leaky and I'm a little concerned about getting through security.  Seems simple enough, but I'd like some input.  Thank you so much!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Zendocrine for children? For Precocious Puberty?

Bump.
I would love info on this as well and would love to know what you used and if it helped. I am going through this now with my daughter and it is very weird to me as I have never heard of it happening so early! :(

Is Zendocrine ok for children?

We have been "hormone free" with our animal products for over a year and eat relatively healthy. My six year old daughter has begun to show signs (hair growth) of "precocious puberty"!!! Despite the symptoms, her blood work and bone age checked out just right so I know there is nothing dangerous going on. However, I don't want this to progress - even within normal range - until she is older. (apparently it is considered "normal" for 8 year old girls to start their period!!??!!)

I know I can't stop mother nature but if I can just hold it off until she stops believing in Santa, I will feel better. Anyway, I was looking through some info and thought maybe the zendocrine - and possibly clary sage - might be able to help her.

Anyone had experience with this?

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Pregnancy and LLV, other EOs.

I know of 2 people who have said that the LLV was wonderful for their pregnancy. It completely eliminated morning sickness and gave them more energy throughout their pregnancy. One of their dr's did state to take more vitamin D with the LLV. Lavender is great for swelling and for relaxing. Try to avoid Peppermint but when necessary, it's ok to use blends with peppermint in (Digestzen, Aromatouch) sparingly. Also, stay clear of Clary Sage.
