Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Frankincense Special in Dec

I couldn't find it anywhere myself, so chatted on line with the office staff. The 200PV promo for Frankincense is on. My order went through and the Frankincense is on it.  Also there is a 5ml bottle of Holiday Joy with an ornament for the POM.

Stephanie Fritz author of my favorite essential oil prego book has said Dr Hill told her before she wrote her book that doTERRA does not sell oils that are generally unsafe during pregnancy.  The only oil she warns about is that if someone has had preterm labor then they may want to avoid Clary Sage as it can incurage labor when the body is ready, or thinks it is.

I highly recommend her book. Stephanie Fritz is one of my most favorite midwives and in the absence of not living near either of my favorites I rely heavily on her book. It's sold on Amazon, Aromatools, +.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Digest zen

Digest Zen has been amazing for our family. Every time we have an upset stomach or nausea we put a drop or 2 in the palm of our hand with some carrier oil. Rub our hands together and put it on the area that is hurting on the stomach. It works every time. Sometimes immediately. My kids have started asking for the oils when it hurts.

If you think about it, it could be like the banana. In some people it helps stop diarrhea and in others it's helps them go. Just a thought.

[Everything doTERRA] diluting oiils and taking internally

Question for the group : I have been diluting oils for years now with doterra's fraction coconut oils. Problem is, for example, with oregano and cinnamon esp, I take these internally and I know they have to be diluted. All this time I have been diluting them with the fractioned coconut oil and putting them in capsules and swallowing or putting in water and swishing and swallowing. Dr Hill recommends Oregano, among other oils, to be taken internally to fight viruses. Of course, I have been taking these internally with the FCO mixed in so it's not too strong and now I just read that the FCO says for topical use only!  Concerned I have been hurting myself and our family.  Anything info you can give me about this would be helpful.

Also - when recommendations are made for oils to be taken internally - and they are the strong ones that recommend dilution, are we supposed to be doing it without diluting them?  Thank you for your help!!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Epsom salt baths

I love an Epsom salts bath/soak...ginger in the bath is the home remedy for a fever...keep adding hot water til you sweat, dry off, get in bed and sweat some more...bathe later...it really works. I would not use cinnamon in a hot bath, or clove or cassia...for arthritis I am using cinammon and rosemary, 1 drop 4 times a day under my tongue...i am using clary sage and clove topically 2x a day after the bath and before bed on my hands and knee...it is working well, plus LLV and bone nutrient complex...

I have finally found Epsom salt in Italy and want to take a nice bath as soon as it arrives. Are there any oils one should not bathe in? I was told by someone they put cinnamon oil in their bath water and got burn marks in different places on her body, but I just read a post where someone recommended cinnamon! I am mainly looking to detox and to help with arthritis. Thanks, Sz
