Wow all, thank you so much for the info. I KNEW these oils would do this. This has also lead me on searches about frequencies and now I am even more amazed with the oils. I have found that therapeutic grade oils carry highest frequencies of anything natural . God certainly knew exactly what he was doing with creating plants!! Thanks again you guys. Thanks to all for the input! This is the 4th time I have had a reaction, and each one seems to be more severe. The various body parts I have applied the oil to (and it has only been a couple drops) have become inflamed & swollen to 3-4 times their normal size! It has taken 5-7 days just for the swelling to go away & the redness has lasted as long as two weeks. This current area now looks like a burn. I am hoping it doesn't leave a scar. So, I am sure you can understand my reluctance to try much of anything!

I'm afraid I have to disagree here. Most oils are indeed very safe, if not recommended in pregnancy, but you should avoid using some until they are needed. Especially clary sage. It can cause contractions and early labor in some women. It can be great during labor if the contractions need regulating or a jump start, but should otherwise be avoided. It is also in at least one of the blends so make sure to always read your labels before even opening to smell an oil. The book Essential Oils For Pregnancy Birth and Babies by Stephanie Fritz is very popular and will explain a lot of the details. Congrats on the expectancy!!
