[Everything doTERRA] Re: LLV & nosebleeds

We are all different. Peppermint oil causes me nosebleeds. It dries me out. It is cooling and drying...a benefit for many, a problem for me, personally. Obviously, this may not be the case with your son, but in case it might be helpful, this has been my experience.

I started giving my son (description below) LLV. Started with one from each bottle for 2 weeks then increase to 2 from each bottle.  He started having nosebleeds which he's  never had before.  So I've dropped back down to 1 each. Any idea if it might be from a particular one? What might be an ideal dosage for his situation?

He is 10y, deaf, Sensory Seeker under the umbrella of Sensory Processing Disorder, has autistic characteristics but not autistic (loves water & drains, stims on a few other thinigs), is sometimes very hyper especially when he has SEEN something visually that sets him off (making black marks on white baseboards, spitting on things and watching the spit drip down, the sag on the couch underneath a person sitting on it, etc.). He was also adopted at 2.5y, in orphanage 2y, mom was supposedly an alcoholic.

[Everything doTERRA] dryness and oils

Hi there.

I am a vata/pitta in ayurvedic medicine....which means I'm very dry inside and out. Peppermint oil seems to give me nosebleeds and dries me out as do many foods. I am wondering if anyone knows the best oils to use to help add moisture back into the body? I eat a healthy diet, exercise, and get plenty of water. My body simply needs moisture to thrive. I live in AZ and using the heat in this dry climate makes my situation worse. I gave Peppermint oil another try yesterday and sure enough, I had a nosebleed last night. Helichrysum helped with the bleeding, but I'd like to find oils I can use on a regular basis to help heal my vata constitution (dryness.) I have almost all of the single oils in my collection, and will be placing an LRP order soon, so please include any oils you can think of. Also, does anyone know if there are other oils that dry you up that I should avoid? Peppermint is known to cooling and drying...I'm wondering if Wintergreen and Eucalyptus might be other oils I should avoid? Thank you so much for your help!

Rachel

[Everything doTERRA] Re: doterra backpack

The green purse sold at convention was still available as of about 3-4
weeks ago. I got one for an incentive for my team. Just call
Doterra. If you have someone who has an account manager, that would
be best to ask them to call their account manager because I am not
sure the regular number people would have the information about the
green purse availability. (anyone silver or above has an account
manager).

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Oregano verses Antibiotic

I asked Dr. Hill this question and got this response: Oregano does
not kill the good. The reason for two weeks on, 1 week off of oregano
he said was because due to (somehow I hope I get this right in the
laymans terms) due to the chemical makeup of oregano, it takes longer
to process through the liver. It is not hard on the liver, it does
not kill the good, it just takes longer to process through. So,
hence, the two weeks on, one week off (unless you are a child and then
I think it was one week on one week off.)

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Different from other MLMs

Our culture is different than others because we do not require anyone to place an order every month, or to purchases a certain amount. If you enroll with doterra you don't have to sell the oils or purchase a certain amount. You can pay the $35.00 dollar enrollment fee, get the oils you want at wholesale and once a year when your enrollment date comes around you have to pay a $25.00 fee to stay in the system, but doTerra sends you a bottle of Peppermint for the fee.
It is a win win situation and no one bugs you to do a business.

Please explain how DoTERRA is different. I have a friend who needs these oils but will not think about buying them because it is a "MLM" company. I would love to know how to explain the difference  to her, or anyone.

Thanks,
Linda

Just open the oils, show your passion and talk to everyone. Explain to them the culture of doTerra and how it is different from other MLM's. And remember that doTerra is now the largest essential oil company in the world. Then share your love of the products and have them smell the oils.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Holiday Joy....confusion??

Because it is a blend and the governing powers that be have no idea what the oils do, require that doTerra put this on the label. I use the CB in my water, my salad dressings and much more.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] High Blood Pressure and Microplex VM

I can't verify what Dr. Hill said, but you are not out anything by trying it. I also know the a capsule with 4 drops each of Ylang Ylang and Lemon taken 1-2 times daily and then rubbing Basil and Marjoram on the bottom of your feet will also help with high blood pressure.

My blood pressure is up in spite of using a variety of the oil protocols for this.  I have been taking the LLV supplements religiously for over four months.  4-2-2-4 capsules spaced evenly throughout the day and evening.  I recently read the following in everythingessential.me:
"My friend spoke to Dr. Hill last night and asked him if the doTerra Life Long Wellness supplements could be making her blood pressure go up.  He said yes, that happens to some, and for her to take a 1/2 dose of the Microplex VM and that should address that."    So, I just wanted to verify that he really DID say that.  If so, perhaps I need to 1/2 the VM part of the supplements.  Thank You!
