Essential Oils on the whole do not interfere with meds. If they are on meds of any kind they can use the oils with ease, with no known side effects.
The GX and PB are gentle cleanses and if someone is taking them and they start getting flu like symptoms then they should reduce their intake of capsules to two a day, and continue for the required 10 days.
There are many things that are helpful by doing the cleanse, and there are times when you just need the PB Assist to boost your immune system and build healthy flora.
If I were dealing with someone who has had heart attacks, I would make sure he is under a doctors care and then I would recommend he start taking a capsule every day with 4 drops each of Basil and Marjoram for heart health.
In most of the conditions you will come upon one of the most effective things you can recommend is the LLV (Life Long Vitality supplements). They are amazing in their ability to balance the body with all the nutrients needed.
You have heard incorrectly, if there is no other way than to use a chemical to distill an oil, doterra will do that as long as the oil still tests for purity and ingredients. If a chemical is used doTerra will let you know.
