[Everything doTERRA] Quitting smoking & sore throat

Hi,

I have a friend who is ready to quit smoking. She has for now switched to Vape, and is willing to try the oils. I am sending her samples of Black Pepper, OnGuard, and Clove. She mentioned that in the 2 days since stopping, she has had a sore throat.

Would the OnGuard be good for this type of sore throat as well, or would a different protocol be better?

Thanks! Excited to help a friend get healthier :-)

Is there any hope for him with the doTERRA oils and/or blends?

[Everything doTERRA] Low hormones

I have been gaining weight rapidly, feeling low energy and my cycles have been weird. We have been unprotected since November 2013. I have two girls that were easily conceived. I was in a traumatic car accident that caused brain injury. My doctor had requested blood tests and found that I have two hormones that are low. The follicle stimulating hormone and the lute ionizing hormone. I'm having to wait awhile to get into my OB and I want to try to naturally fix these. What should I do? Thanks in advance to all that have input.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: mouth sore after clove and oregano use

Hi Annie.   So sorry he had that happen.  My husband is also reluctant and one time he had a similar event and was hesitant to try oils again, but now he is more and more willing, so I hope your husband will try them again too.  As for the scabbed area, some Virgin Coconut Oil (not fractionated) with a drop of Lavender or Geranium or Immortelle should help repair the skin.  Oregano should always be diluted in my opinion, but I am able to use Clove neat in my mouth.  Some people are more sensitive, so I have the oil handy in case they need it.  Melaleuca is another oil to use inside the mouth, as is Myrrh.   Both oils give amazing results for mouth ulcers, so perhaps they would help the place on the upper gum.  Please keep us posted.

On Friday, August 29, 2014 5:58:11 PM UTC-5, Annie Khan wrote:
Hi there
Im fairly new to the oils and my husband had a flare up with one of his teeth that is in need of a root canal. He was in pain so I suggested he apply clove oil (1 drop directly on the area of the gum where the pain was) and then as it got worse said to add oregano as he didn't have any antibiotics and thought this would be better.. I know they are hot oils but didn't expect the result. After just 3 applications over 2 days, the corner of his mouth where the oils also touched has burnt and scabbed over but more worryingly, most of one side of his upper gum is extremely sore and looks like damaged tissue.. I feel awful as he's not really inclined to use the oils as I am but he took my advice. The gum looks like it has white sores all along and on the top where the gum meets the upper lip, looks like a huge ulcer. Pls pls pls help. He really doesn't want to use any more oils on it but if I knew something would definitely work I'd try to convince him.
Many thanks
Annie

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Vision improvment

There can and will be different protocols to use. Since everybody's body is different the same oils might not work the same way for everyone. So you should try both protocols and see which one helps you the most. I am not sure what it would do if you mixed it all together. But if you wanted to you could always make some of each separately then mix them and try it.

When I looked on the Everything Essential.me website though it said that a blend using Frank, cypress and lavender with no FCO is the protocol. I'm confused, shouldn't the 2 compliment each other? Can I combine the 2 protocols? With FCO, W/O FCO and at what ratio. Kind of new at all this but in love with EO's.

So, in answer to her question, does Wintergreen on its own or in Deep Blue or other blends interfere with someone on blood thinners? Re: [Everything doTERRA] Deep Blue and Warfarin

So many off brand oils that say Wintergreen are really just substitute oils. A true Wintergreen is like liquid aspirin as its largest constituent is Methyl Salilitate (spelling?)
doTerra has a true Wintergreen and is amazing for pain relief.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: broken cervical vertebrae

You are not "nobody". You are a daughter of your Heavenly Father who has blessed you with Faith in Him as a lay healer. This intuitive ability and your study is a blessing,  Thank you for your courage to share with us.

I would rud Deep Blue oil on the for head and on the back of the upper cervical from the base of the collar to the middle of the base of the skull . Then I would place my left hand (thumb and first two fingers) on the bridge of the nose and my right hand (thumb and first two fingers) at the base of the skull (where the little indention is). Then I would pray to God as I visualize the bones of the neck correcting themself and comming in to alinement and I would hold this intention while praying to my Father for these oils to go out and preform what He created them to do. In this He would receive the glory and we the benefit.
Sometimes Father heals immediately, sometimes He makes us walk out the scripture we know, and sometimes the spirit of infirmity is left upon us and brings us to the knowledge that His grace is sufficient. Nevertheless I at least go to the Father at least 3 times.
Also the AromaTouch on the spine with the same intent, vision and prayer may bring alinement and relief.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Phytoestrogen and headaches

It is possible that it could have caused the headaches. Here is a link to read about it http://www.migraine101.com/phyto.htm . As far as getting rid of headaches you can use lavender, peppermint, and frankincense combined, which is what works best for me. Or another really good option is past tense which I know helps a lot of people I know. And here is a link of oils that might help with her diabetes

Before she was scanned she was complaining of being lethargic, exhausted all the time and her blood sugars being everywhere. She's also never got over her gestational diabetes and works as a counsellor so takes a lot on her mind.

Your help would be appreciated. Frank, lavender and peppermint have not helped her... So I've been told. Wasn't sure what else to advise her.

Look forward to your thoughts.

Take care and keep smiling,

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Psoriasis

Here is something to try. A friend gave it to me. She got it from Camp Wanderer. It has worked on another friends mom who has Psoriasis.
( Naked Salve)
1 cup solid coconut oil
1 cup organic olive oil
4 tbs. beeswax beadlets
1/2 tsp. Vit. E oil ( optional)
per each 4oz jar, add EOs:
10 drps.  lavender
8  drps.  lemon
6  drps.  melaleuca
Yields 12 ozs

And GX Assist is another form of DigestZen. It is a blend with caprylic acid that is designed to help support the gastrointestinal tract in eliminating pathogens.

[Everything doTERRA] Congested Baby

Hello

My 13 month old baby started daycare this week and has been extremely congested since yesterday.  I have been using lavender, breathe, and on guard and noticed that she has a very difficult time settling to sleep last night (actually we both did not get sleep). Could the breathe and On Guard have a stimulatory effect on babies or not?  It may have also been because she was not feeling well that she could not settle.

thank you in advance.

I didn't find anywhere where it said she couldn't  use those oils. She can ask her doctor for a list of oils that she should stay away from while on the blood thinners. I am enclosing a short list of oils I found to avoid:
* Wintergreen
• Clove
• Peppermint (Spearmint is a safe replacement)
• Black Cumin
• Cypress
• Myrtle
• Bay Laurel
• Nutmeg

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Slim and Sassy regimen

I am using the slim and sassy oil and it makes me feel less hungry. I put 8 drops into 16 oz of water and drink it. It says to drink throughout the the day between meals but I drink a lot of water so it doesn't make it all day, and sometimes I do another small dose of 2-3 drops for the rest of the day. Another thing to try is put 5 drops each of lemon and grapefruit in a gallon of water and drink throughout the day. I have not tried that one as of yet.

The following statement was really the only one I could find about what oils to try. It doesn't say if it worked or not but it might be worth a try.

If this were my problem I would use a twice daily application of Helichrysum, Lemongrass and Cypress. I would apply the oil and then cover with a hot moist towel when you can. Even if you can't apply the towel every time be sure and apply the oils at least twice a day.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Minor surgical wound

Here is a recipe I got from a friend who got it from Camp Wanderer. I have not used it personally, but know people who have and it worked really great.
( Naked Salve)
1 cup solid coconut oil
1 cup organic olive oil
4 tbs. beeswax beadlets
1/2 tsp. Vit. E oil ( optional)
per each 4oz jar, add EOs:
10 drps.  lavender
8  drps.  lemon
6  drps.  melaleuca
Yields 12 ozs

What would you suggest for pain relief from a minor surgical wound? I have suggested On Guard to prevent infection and Lavender for pain. Any other oils that would be better?

Thanks!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Breathe and Pregnancy

She should check with her doctor first before using the oils. Here is a link talking about oils and pregnancy issues. http://www.ssdoterra.com/uploads/1/0/9/7/10970004/essential_oils_in_pregnancy.pdf

Hello. My friend is expecting and has a sinus infection. She would like to try Breathe. Is is safe for her to use? What about On Guard also? Thank you!
