[Everything doTERRA] Locating doTerra Member-KY

Thank you all for sharing your inspiration and your vast knowledge.  I would love to find a doTerra member in my area.  Does anyone know of anyone in, or near, Owensboro, KY or Tell City, IN.  I live roughly 25 miles from both towns.  It would just be so nice to find someone to talk with in person and to actually see some of the doTerra products mentioned here.  Thank you for any and all response to my search....

Take care,
Pam in KY

[Everything doTERRA] oil in sample bottles has disappeared

Hi everyone.  I had two key chain cases filled with first aid oils in 5/8 dram sample bottles. These had stayed in a backpack, for maybe 6 months to a year. The backpack itself was rarely used in that time. The backpack started to smell like oregano so I examined the contents of the keychain cases. I noticed some of the caps on the bottles were a bit loose. (I would not have put them in there without tightening the caps first.) All of the oils have disappeared to varying degrees. Some were completely empty, while some lost half, etc. Bummer, since some of my most expensive oils were in there.

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of the integrity of the sample bottles and caps? Did they spill out or evaporate due to a poor cap-to-bottle connection? And finally, is it ridiculous to do as I did and store these sample bottles until "who knows when"?

Re: [Everything doTERRA] anxiety in a 10 year old

One thing I found to help is lavender on the back of the neck and down the back. I explain to my niece how it absorbs in to the system to help calm her. I also told her to close her eyes when she start to feel stressed or she can't think and visualize how any of oils I have put on her are working and try to feel them working. You might have have already done all of this but I just wanted to share what I have found to help. I do this when she has felt she needed it. It help give a sense of control towards it.

I've tried everything I can think of- we use frankincense and balance twice a day, citrus bliss in the morning, and serenity at night. We use the peaceful child blend, and I diffuse these oils when we're at home. I've also tried the Symphony of the Cells neurologic protocol, which lists anxiety as one of the things it benefits. At various times, I've used melissa, bergamot, wild orange, etc. Nothing seems to help. Her anxiety is so severe that she complains of constant stomach pain (we've been to the dr. twice, who can find nothing wrong), and she's lost weight because she eats so little. We use digestzen and peppermint for the stomach complaints, with only temporary improvement. What else can I try for her anxiety? And to improve her appetite? Thanks for any suggestions!

[Everything doTERRA] Facial scarring

Hi my daughter is having surgery to remove a birthmakr from her face. First surgery is on Tuesday, I have helichrysum and frankincense to use for the healing and scarring. Please can anyone advise how often I should apply the oils and if I should start now before the surgery or once the stitches are removed? Thanks.

I've successfully used Clary sage to boost my production, it works pretty quickly.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: What else can I put in my Flu Bomb once I have passed the 2 week mark with Oregano?

Use thyme in the off time.  It is very similar to oregano.  Kind of like cinnamon and cassia.  They are sisters!

I've been preparing one giant capsule daily of On Guard, Melaleuca, Oregano, Clove and Wild Orange, but I'm passed the two week mark with the Oregano. What else can I substitute in? So far I have managed to avoid catching whatever crud is going around, and I want it to stay that way! Thanks for all ideas.

My last severe attack was last March of 2013. In July of 2013 I prayed asking for better health, to find an opportunity to do something from home that I could minister to others. For years I worked as a government contractor and ministered to disable veterans. That ended in the fall of 2011. I missed what I did for over twenty years but for whatever reason God moved me on. Answer to my prayer. Late August 2013 I was introduced to doTERRA. I was fighting a migraine for a week. I was offered to try pasttence roll on and within 2 minutes it was gone. I had neck pain and again offered deep blue to try on my neck and again within 2 minutes the pain was gone. My husband has COPD and was offered breathe oil to try and once again his breathing was better. We talked about ordering some oils when I had a flashback about my prayer. I decided to become a consultant and SOOO SOOO HAPPY I DID!

I started using doTERRA LLV full dose first week of October 2013. By end of October I was able to put my cane down. By beginning of December I was off of 4 sleep medicines, 2 migraine medicines, 3 irritable bowel medicines, 1 MS medicine, 3 over the counter supplements and 2 anti depressant medications, as well as others as needed medicines.

Today I have more energy sine LLV, my fuzzy vision is incredibly better since using immortelle, digestzen and lemon oil has allowed me to have a healthy normal life that I have never remembered having as far back as a child.. Digestzen oil and supplement has healed my acid reflux. Spasms that attack my whole body and are so painful, I now control with dill oil. ( ps) if anyone has dill oil to spare please let me know. doTERRA DILL OIL IS A MUST HAVE FOR ME. They are out of stock and I only have a small amount left. . I use lavender, serenity, and veviter to sleep. I use pasttence and peppermint to stop migraines and or headaches from becoming out of control. My husband has healed tooth infection with meleluca. I had two roots removed from one tooth last week and meleluca took pain away. I am now at director level and have testimonies of others who now use doTERRA because it works for them. a women with Parkinson's, the oils are changing her life for the better.  A lady with diabetes, her points decreased by 20 after first month of LLV. Her arthritis is so much better from using oregano and coconut oil. So many more testimony's but only so much room.

My prayer has been answered and I love that I can use products that benefit me, my family and countless others. I work from home and get to minister to folks in need of relief. I have had no problems with doTERRA as a company. They back of everything they sell and are so willing to help anyone with any issues related to doTERRA. Thank you for letting me share.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] anxiety in a 10 year old

My daughter was a little older when it presented, middle school. For us diffusing the Balance really helped as did LLV. If she is willing perhaps one of each plus one PB Assist daily. I also have a blend that we use that seems to really help:

Her anxiety is so severe that she complains of constant stomach pain (we've been to the dr. twice, who can find nothing wrong), and she's lost weight because she eats so little. We use digestzen and peppermint for the stomach complaints, with only temporary improvement. What else can I try for her anxiety? And to improve her appetite? Thanks for any suggestions!

Re: [Everything doTERRA] kidney stones- any success getting rid of them?

Kidney Stones

Prevention:

Lemon 1-2 drops in full glass of water 6 times a day.

Pain and relief:

Rub basil and eucalyptus on area of back where it is.

I've used this a couple of times and it has worked. We have a chronic kidney stone IPC that swears by it. I know it isn't the usual one recommended by everythingessential but this is what she had on hand. I couldn't believe how fast it works for me.

I agree with Carla. Myself and many I know with fibro and chronic pain
disorders either have a thyroid condition or blood work shows they are
right on the edge. I finally decided to switch to natural thryoid (like
Armour). It was a struggle to find a doc who would prescribe it but I'm
very happy with the switch.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] kidney stones- any success getting rid of them?

It's not an oil but my whole family has had so much success with the following for kidney stones: put a whole daikon radish in a juicer and drink the whole thing. May need to be repeated in 12-24 hours for large stones.

It stinks and burns going down but just chug it and follow with something tasty like lemonade. This has only failed us a couple of times and those times the stones were huge! This is not medical advice, just sharing what has worked for our family and friends. Since it is food, I would think it should be ok for a pregnant woman but of coarse you have to use your best judgement.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: chest pressure

The mood matrix powerpoint is great but it doesn't explain HOW to use it. I was told you have to use the oils in a certain order for the best effectiveness. This is the order: serenity, citrus bliss, elevation, balance. I just remember SCEB. I apply to my wrists or neck and wait a few seconds in between each oil after rubbing it in well. You could also apply to feet but it smells so good I like to be able to smell it.

Lip balm is easy to make. 2 parts beeswax, 2 parts Shea or Cocoa butter, 3 parts coconut oil. Melt in double boiler, cool slightly, Add whatever essential oils you want. Pour into clean containers. If you like it softer and less waxy do 1 part beeswax.

A lot of people who have fibromyalgia really have a thyroid problem.  I believe this also causes temp changes as I experience these myself.  Has your husband been properly tested for thyroid problems (not just TSH, but a full thyroid panel)?  I also understand that treatment with T4 only medication won't take care of the problem, those with this issue need a T4/T3 medication.  That is something to check into also.

[Everything doTERRA] diffusing oils for Alzheimers

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Fibro and connection to fluctuating body temp

I totally agree with some of the others.  I started with doTerra in my search for help with menopause hot flashes.  I had some help, but the real help didn't come til I tried the LLV ... which was almost a year and a half after I started.  DUMB me!

If you try something that doesn't work it IS expensive - even if it's only $1. There's a 30 day guarantee on the LLV, try it for a month, if it doesn't work, get a refund.  If it does work ... the relief will likely bring him to the conclusion that ITS NOT EXPENSIVE!

I recommend journaling the symptoms and feelings before beginning so you have an accurate reference.  However many can attest to trying it and stopping because they didn't think it did them any good ... but when they stop - the symptoms return and they realize that it did!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Extremely Chapped Lips

I love Myrrh oil for wounds, especially around and in the mouth.  When I'm making blends for oral infections I use equal parts Myrrh and Frankincense- but for your lips you may only need half that.  I agree with Apryl, organic, cold-pressed coconut oil has some amazing healing properties on it's own.  We also use doTERRA's lip balm- but that's probably not basic enough since there are a ton of extracts in it.  Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I would start him/her by doing LLV, Immortelle around the eyes, and taking a capsule x3 per day with oils like Melissa, Black Pepper, Clove, or Melalueca. Also I would suggest lots of Lemon in water and even consider doing a GX/PB Assist Cleanse. Hope this helps.

I was diagnosed with MS 2/2003. I have been in a wheel chair at times, using a walker at times and had to use a cane for long time. For whatever reason, I have an attack every four or five years.
