Re: [Everything doTERRA] Suggestions for Wound Care/Healing

I have a brother that is a greens keeper for a golf course. Last summer the deck of the law mower dropped on his index finger. It took a trip to the ER and about 14 stitches to close the wound. I gave him a sample bottle of melaleuca and told him to use it. He said that he would put 1 drop on the edges of the wound and then an ointment and wrap it with a bandage.

The Dr. had told him to come back in 2 weeks and maybe it would be healed enough to take the stitches out. On day 12 he took out the stitches himself because the wound was completely closed. He texted pictures during this time and kept me up to date on the progress. It was amazing.

Also in March I was at a presentation by Dr. Hill and he showed pictures of a lady that had wounds on her face and she used Immortelle to heal it. If I remember the story correctly it was a young lady that ran track in high school and missed one of the hurdles. She caught herself with her face. Once again totally amazing healing.

So, after a long story, in short try Melaleuca or Immortelle if you have those in your kit of oils. Also, possibly Deep Blue or Marjoram for the pain. You also have muscles that are damaged.

Hello everyone! I recently had a very unfortunate accident 3 days ago. I cut myself with glass pretty badly in my right hand, and it hit an artery. I was in the ER for 5.5 hrs and ended up getting 7 stitches after we got the bleeding stopped. I get the stitches out two weeks from today. Im looking for suggestions for wound care, pain management and healing. I plan on ordering helicrysum but not sure what else I should get. Im not allowed to soak the wound and i have to wear a splint on my hand to protect it. Im on some pain meds however I would like to get off them as soon as I'm able to. Also taking an antibiotic to help prevent infection. I can take the splint off to clean the wound and thats about it. there is a lot of pain from time to time, and im afraid to take off the splint because it feels better with it on and protected. My hand is swollen where the stitches are. I have a whole array of oils (but not quite all of them) and several of the products and have been a part of doTERRA for a year now. I love the products and I'm hoping for fast healing, low pain, and a minimal scar. What are your best suggestions? Thank you!
