Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Sales in VA

Ok great to know! Do you work in VA by chance? I agree that if I am just educating a client on the type of oils and how well they work and if they like them buy them online then I don't see an issue. But, you just never know when who's going to make a stink about such a small issue. Thanks

Hi I'm a massage therapist as well. The state does not mandate what
types of oils you can and cannot use, you supply them yourself. When
you are working on a client you need to disclose what oils you are
using on them for there health. It's not a sales pitch, but you will
have interest because of the effects of the oils. In my opinion as
long as you are not blantantly advertisizing (posters and such) you
are ok. I've had massages where at the front desk they have oil
displays for people to buy at retail.

> HelloI am thinking about moving to the VA area some time in the fall and I was just told by a friend that in my line of work I can not sell DoTerra to my clients.  Has anyone else came across this problem and if so how did you get around this issue?  I was thinking if I don't have the product physically and tell them to go to my website if that would be the same as selling it?  My thought is if I tell them about the oils then direct them where to get them it is not the same as it going from my hand to theirs.  This may be wishful thinking but, maybe the only way around the act of "selling it".  Any thoughts or ideas will be greatly appreciated!  Thank you
