RE: [Everything doTERRA] Re: $20 Spa Vapor vs. DoTerra Diffuser

Hi,

I’m copying and pasting here what Suzy Howard wrote:

The Spa Mist diffuser can be purchased at www.myoilbusiness.com and it is listed with a price of $49.95 each.  You can order up to 8 of these diffusers at the special price of $20.00 each if you put in the coupon code of Spa Mist at checkout.  They really make great incentives, and if you purchase the "Make over your Medicine Cabinet" tear pad set for $19.90, you will definitely want some of these diffusers.  The tear pad portion that talks about enrollments basically says that you will give anyone who holds a class and has at least 10 people in attendance a diffuser.  Therefore, a $20.00 diffuser is at least affordable if you get several enrollments from the class.

Hope this helps.

I love my Spa Mist, too.

If any of you live near a Meijer store, they sell the exact item for $24.99.  When you add shipping, I'm sure that's cheaper than getting it from the website mentioned above.

I did have to exchange it--my first one stopped working.  But, this second one works just fine and I love it.  It's user-friendly, like Shelly said.  It's easy to use and easy to clean since it just opens up at the top into a big well.

In another thread a long time ago, someone said they didn't like that the Spa Mist required more water.  I actually love this because I can put more oil in and it lasts longer--I don't have to tend to it as often as my Lotus.

My Lotus actually stopped working.  I have to send it back to doTerra.  I'm really sad about that because despite its tiny well that I can barely reach my hand in, I love that diffuser, too.  I'm not very patient, so I hate that I have to wait for it to ship, wait for it to be repaired, then wait to have it shipped back.  =(

If I could afford it, I'd have a diffuser in every room of the house!  Eventually I will!

Honestly, I am a closet spa mist user, LOL.  I always recommend the
lotus because it is beautiful and a doTERRA product.  HOWEVER, I just
received 2 spa mist diffusers so my kids could manage them.  I find
the lotus not user friendly.  I'm going to have to buy more because
everyone in the house wants to have their own now.  It runs
perfectly.  You just need to follow the directions and speak kindly to
it.  If it does not work upon opening, a friend of mine had great luck
rinsing it out with vinegar and hot water.  Hers has been going for a
year now!  On the flip side, the price of spa mist might reflect its
length of life.  My lotus has been dropped on hard tile no less than
six times and it is still going strong!  I think the spa mist is a
great incentive for hosts but just make sure it works before you give
it away.
