I think you have to tread lightly here. While we all want this to cure the child, his parents are the ones who are entitled to inspiration for him. They must make the decision and they alone have the inspiration to do so. I would think it is best to support them and help them understand that regardless of the decision they make, that the oils are there to help them connect with him, touch him, and feel closer to him. I have also thought that perhaps the oils are for them--maybe they are giving them strength and healing as they go through this transition in life.
