She might be protein deficient.  A couple of Trimshakes a day would likely do her good as well.  I don't have a cannister here but I seem to remember it containing GABA which is great for the brain.  Elevation on the heart may give her a boost too. It's great that she was able to quit. The repair work takes some time though. 

Wild salmon, essential fatty acids, chia are all good brain foods. Avoid sugar!!! It can cause more depression.
