You need a holistic multi-modal approach to this condition.  I
recommend consulting with a Bowen Therapist who has experience or can
consult with a colleague who is experienced in dealing with plantar
fasciitis.  Your client will need work of related muscles in the lower
leg to print actual healing and long-term relief - and believe me, I
do know what I am talking about from personal experience.  Do instruct
your client to apply very firm pressure to the muscle that runs up the
front of the lower leg, just to the outside of the shin bone - the
discomfort will be high level 'ouch' but the relief will be almost
immediate.  I recommend first layering the deep heat oil - followed by
the lotion.  Allow the lotion to settle into the area before applying
the pressure.  Finally, encourage the client to purchase a pair of
shoes that are meant to 'tone your butt' while you walk (another
recommendation from my Bowen Therapist).  Apparently it helps work the
muscles in the lower leg.  Just a reminder - Deep Blue has a three-
fold impact - analgesic, anti-inflammatry and restorative - ideal for
this condition.  Apply first thing in the morning, throughout the day
as required, and last thing at night.  Don't wait until the body sends
the pain signal - get in ahead of time in order for the three-pronged
attack to be most effective.  All the best - please let me know how
you go.  Cherylynn
