[Everything doTERRA] Re: Oil of the week: oregano

my wife has been an ipc for about 8 months. in that time, we've used
oregano to fight off colds, cellulitis, warts, and UTIs.

for colds, we just rub a drop on the bottom of each foot every 6
hours.

for the cellulitis ... that was a different beast. we used oregano,
frankincense, lemongrass, and on guard, rubbing the effected area 3
times a day. it helped some, but it wasn't working fast enough, if
that makes sense. being the primary income for our family, i had to
get back to work, which meant having to go to the dr. and of course,
they prescribed and i took 2 anti-biotics. well, ha ha--the ABs wiped
out all the bacteria--good and bad. to help build back up the healthy
bacteria, i ate a lot of yogurt--perhaps too much because a week later
i developed a raging UTI.

to treat that, we used two drops each of oregano, on guard, rosemary
and lemongrass. that knocked it right out in about 3 days.

for the wart, it was only a baby one, so it got rid of it entirely.
i've heard of people dabbing the surrounding skin with coconut oil
prior to applying the oregano for more advanced warts though. anyway,
no more wart, UTI or cold!
