I've read some of the posts here where folks who have not tried
doTerra are asking what makes these oils so much better than those of
competitors and I've seen the recommendation to have them smell the
competitor's oil next to doTerra's.  I finally had that opportunity
today and it was amazing!

I discovered essential oils exactly one year ago when our conventional
veterinarian gave up on our dear dog who had developed kidney
disease.  Someone suggested a nearby holistic vet.  I had only hope
left in my heart so we went over and she introduced us to essential
oils.  Before that day, I knew virtually nothing about them.  She is a
Young Living distributor so thats what we were introduced to.  Her
loving care gave us 4 more months with our pet and after the dog
passed, I put the oils away for awhile because the scents brought back
still-painful reminders of her illness.

Late last year, I decided to pull them out again.  I only owned a few
bottles, most of them for the dog, but one that I had bought for
myself was Roman Chamomile.  I got it intending to add it to Lavender
for insomnia issues but the smell was so strong I rarely used it.

At the start of 2012, I happened to see doTerra oils on ebay and
decided that I had to have Serenity & Elevation  This was the first I
had seen of doTerra.  I loved the two I tried so I became in IPC with
doTerra.

I just recently decided that I wanted to give Roman Chamomile another
shot so I bought a botte of doTerra's, and I was so amazed at the
difference  between doTerra's & YL that I had to post.   The different
is shocking.  The YL bottle hads a heavy, almost chemical overtone to
it and the doTerra bottle is clean and soothing.  A wonderful lister
on here had exchanged a few messages with me offlist last month and
had been sharing similar experiences but at the time, I didn't own any
duplicate oils so I didn't quite understand what she was talking about
but today I have the answer!

I was so excited I had to share my experience and recommend lining up
the Roman Chamomiles side-by-side if someone is looking to make a
comparison between the two companies.
