Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: changing upline?

They will not move other IPC over to your team.  If it causes a rank advancement for anyone.  Which means they can't have too much volume.  My upline leader wanted to place someone on my team.  Because we connected so well and I was supporting her a long the way.  We went as far as getting 6 different signatures from my upline.  Thinking, after they told us to do just that.  It would be a done deal.  Nope.  They turned it down.  Because of the rank advancement.  They are frowning on these kinds of requests.  It was a waste of time on our behalf. Best of luck to you.

My answer is still the same. It is almost impossible to move one person and next to impossible (won't happen) to move a team.  Go to your business tools in your virtual office and print the exception papers. You have to get the whole upline to sign the paper and fill it out correctly. Then send it in, the committee only meets once a month (about the middle) so if you miss this month you have to wait till next month.

Pat, I'm not seeing anything like that in my office.  I have 3 different IPC's ,(from 3 different lines completely), that have asked to move to my downline because they are not getting any help from their upline partners.  I am not trying to "steal" these IPC's, and have taken them under my wing already.  They have each come to the conclusion, (on their own, and not suggested by me), that they don't appreciate someone who will not help them, receiving any profit from their work.  I completely understand where they are coming from, and since I am doing all the work, which includes traveling, teaching them the business, holding classes, etc... for them, I tend to agree that I deserve some of the reward.    I certainly do not recommend "poaching" on other peoples territory, but when they have tried everything, including repeated calls and asking their own upline partners to help them, with no change, it just isn't fair to them or anybody.  I do believe in Karma, and what goes around, comes around, but I have spent my time and my money to help many people that are not on my downline, and it would be nice to receive the benefits that their uplines are getting from my hard work.  One of the ladies is starting to build a team, and her team members also want to jump ship to my team.  She called doTERRA, and was told it was impossible to switch teams.  I am scheduled to go to her town next weekend to give them training at considerable cost to myself.  Another IPC called doTERRA, and was told it was possible, but there were certain conditions that must be met.  Can you find out what the deal really is and post it here for all of us?  I think it would also be a good reminder to each of us to take care of our team so that they don't want to jump ship.

You can file an exception to move, the paper work in under tools in your virtual office.

The person who signed her up is her step daughter.  She really would
rather not talk to her about moving due to bad family issues.  The
only thing the stepdaughter has sold her was frankincense.  And the
stepdaughter ordered it and charged her the wholesale price plus the
full amount of shipping.  She has learned absolutely nothing about how
to use the oils.  So she has never ordered anything in her own name.
Hopefully this will help her move.  She doesn't plan on building her
business.  She just wants to be able to use the oils on her family and
know how to use them.
