[Everything doTERRA] Re: Tooth Infection

also the oil helps dull the burn from oregano and clove, not the
potency. so I think one drop is just fine.

personally, i do my essential oils separately from oil pulling. that
way i can swallow them (you can't swallow the oil you pull with).
also I have been oil pulling for years..waaay before I knew about
essential oils. and I oil pull for a full 20 minutes and just a tsp
of oil 2 tb would be a lot for me. So there are some options.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: deep blue vs deep blue rub

not the same because deep blue rub has the oil and plus some other
things and oils (cinnamon, red pepper, german chamomile) that help
with pain, if i remember correctly.

But using it with lotion is fine. Personally I would use it with
whole coconut oil. You could try doterra's lotion also if you just
want to use lotion and not oil.

The best thing would be to try it out and see if it works for "you."

[Everything doTERRA] Re: slim n sassy

I'm not sure about why we need the high drops. I do know a few
things:

when all of us were back stage @ conference talking before we came out
for the Slim and Sassy part, it seems that everyone took the high
doses of slim and sassy.

That is what works for me. if i don't take the high doses, then for
some reason i'm not in the zone. well, not necessarily high but i have
to be doing it throughout the day. I don't put it in my water. I use
it under my tongue and drink my water with lemon and lime.

also, I have a few clients that can take slim and sassy and take their
sugar and it drops it immediately.

So no matter what, I always try to empower people to pay attention to
their bodies and do what works for them. And those that are diabetic
have to be testing their blood.

I would also really like to hear Dr. hill's answer to this. good
question.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Non-healing clavicle fracture

I would do a consistent protocol of Helichrysum and Frankincense on the broken area, alternate with Lemongrass. Then I would also take Frankincense under the tongue daily.
Let me know how this goes and we will adjust where needed.

Thank you!

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Diffusers Aroma Ace,Lotus or Classic Ultrasonic Nebulizing Diffuser

Yes, I actually had this diffuser when we were in Washington State. I did a class at a Health Food Store and they loved the diffuser so I left it with them. I'll have to get hold of them and see how they like it.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Tourettes and Insomnia

I had to post this as a response to your question as well.

I would also recommend talk therapy.  I have successfully been of lorazepam (related to klonopin) for a long time now but I had been on it for years.  Weening off was hard but not impossible.  At the time, I had not heard about oils so I was not using them but I do now.  A therapist/social worker/counselor can help you learn skills to cope with your anxiety and sleep without relying on chemicals like medication.  Slowly over time you may have the tools you need to manage it with self talk, relaxation, and different exercises.

Best wishes,
Emily

Please stay with the oils and supplements. It will take time but it will be worth it. It sounds like you have some stress to deal with and along with your body trying to get back in good working condition you also have some detox to contend with.
Here are three really incredible oils that should help you with your rest:
  • Try Serenity on the bottom of your feet.
  • Or use Serenity on your feet and Clary Sage on your ankles.
  • Lavender on feet and wrist points.
See which combination works best for you. Now incorporate Balance into your daily regime. Use it first thing in the morning on the bottom of your feet and then through out the day as you feel anxious, put it on the back of your neck.
Let me know,

I'm wondering if the wonder of the oils and supplements are making the prescription meds useless.   My tics have been more noticeable lately, too.

I've got a lot of emotional junk on my plate now and in the coming 6 months, and am afraid to stop the Klonipin altogether because of the agitation.

I guess what I'm really asking is, how on earth can I get to sleep???   I've tried all the stuff on the protocol/testimonials pages, but nothing has worked.

Please help?

[Everything doTERRA] Non-healing clavicle fracture

Below is from my friend.  Does anyone have any thoughts or advice?

I have a non-healing clavicle fracture, my tendons are catching on my AC joint, bursitis, and my physical therapist thinks something else is wrong that the MRI didn't pick up. I've been using topricin and biofreeze for topical. Ibuprofen does nothing, hydrocodone takes the edge off, and cortisone patches are heaven for a few hours.

Thank you!
Erika

Pat, I love you!   Thank you so much for your always wise counsel.  I will try all of this tonight.   And, just fyi...I practically BATHE in Balance all day, every day.   I would drink it if I could!

Happiest New Year to you!

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Anxiety Management

I'll look into the GABA.

I need to get back to drinking lemon in my water now that I know what my problem is.    I have the Zendocrine oil, and I'll use that too.

I have been soaking my feet with Epsom salts.  I'll try the bath tonight and see if it helps.  I really am feeling considerably better now than I was just a month ago when I was still on the lorazepam (Ativan).

Thanks for your help.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Anxiety Management

Gin, Thanks for your input.  I just did the GX/PB in November.  I started the Zendocrine Cleanse after that, but stopped thinking it might be causing some of my symptoms.  I am starting that again this week.  I've been on the LLV since February and I can see lots of little improvements, especially my skin and nails.

I was on a low dose of lorazepam (Ativan) only 0.50 mg, and I was only taking half a pill of that occasionally as needed, so I didn't have too much to wean from, but it was over a period of about 2 years, and my body doesn't want to let go.

I don't have the Deep Blue Rub, but I have tried the PastTense on my stiff neck, and that relaxes it quite well.

I have been using vetiver on my wrists for the anxiety, Balance on my feet morning and evening, and sometimes Serenity across my forehead.  I think I need to re-apply these oils more frequently during the day.

The first time I tried Citrus Bliss was in the evening.  Bad decision.  No sleep that night.  I'll try it during the daytime.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] slim n sassy

Slim and Sassy is a Metabolic Blend and also helps to balance the adrenals. This is a big job and your body needs constant slim and sassy in your system to do its job.  So instead of taking a set amount in the morning, you take some all day long. It will work to get your body into sync with itself.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Anxiety Management

You might need some GABA.  Anti-anxiety meds cause the brain to make GABA so depletion after stopping the meds would explain your symptoms. Just a guess without actually muscle testing you.  GABA is a neurotransmitter/amino acid type thing. It's pretty cheap in the health food store.  I would suggest just going to one and testing it there.  It is made from beans.

I would focus on drinking lemon water, using Zendocrine oil and pills to detox and perhaps the Peaceful Child blend around the belly button, under feet and inhale.   Hot baths with epsom salts and your fave oils before bed.  Lime, Lemongrass, Cypress for example is a nice mix for relaxation and muscle pain.  Nice to hear you are off the meds but be patient with getting back into balance again. It is not an overnight thing.

Symptoms:  Extreme tiredness, especially in the upper back and neck.  Lots of anxiety-type symptoms, weak and shaky legs, shivering and shaking uncontrollably.  Muscle stiffness and headaches on waking in the morning.  Persistent insomnia--couldn't fall asleep and spent many sleepless nights.  Sleeping excessively (9 to 10 hours a day, once I actually got to sleep).

I weaned off 4 medications--paroxetine (Paxil), flecainide (to regulate heart rhythm), warfarin (Coumadin), and simvistatin (statin for cholesterol) without a problem.

It wasn't until I started weaning off the last medication, lorazepam (Ativan) that I realized all these symptoms were withdrawal from the lorazepam!  I have not taken any lorazepam in over a week, though the symptoms still persist, yet are milder than before and I can use our famous oils to calm them down to a manageable level.  I have to keep applying the oils--vetiver, Balance, Ylang Ylang, Serenity, and sometimes Frankincense--morning, evening and two or three times in between.  I am hoping the symptoms don't hang on forever!

I am still religiously avoiding wheat and any kind of sugar, as I think one of these is triggering the cardiac arrhythmia I have had for the last 12 years.  If my heartbeat becomes irregular I am finding that Ylang Ylang will calm it down right away.

I hope I haven't led anyone astray with my multiple pleas for help.

Hi everyone,

As you may know there have been some problems with my google account.
A lot of you have received weird emails about a shipment in
Washington. We are really sorry about it and Rob has been working on
getting it straightened out.

So, for the next couple of days I will still be available for your

I want you all to know that 2012 is going to be an incredible year for

All you need to do is check the ingredients for our Deep Blue and I doubt you could replicate it. One of the many things I love about the Deep Blue Rub is that a little dab goes a long way. A lot of people use way to much.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Anxiety Management

My recommendations:
Do a round of Cleanse and Restore (GX Assist for 10 days followed by PB Assist) if you haven't already.
Lifelong Vitality Pack (I've seen positive results with anxiety, sleep issues, depression)
Deep blue rub for muscle soreness/tightness.
Balance on wrists in am. Repeat as needed throughout the day.
Lavender on feet right before bed. Put Balance and Lavender next to the bed and use if you wake up.
I'd also consider Citrus Bliss during the day for little uplift as needed.
But and its a big but, if the symptoms of withdrawal from the Ativan are severe or you are really struggling, I'd suggest taking 1/2 or 1/4 dose of the Ativan and tapering off much more slowly.

Just a matter of choices I guess...

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Tooth Infection

I use the '1 drop is a treatment' philosophy. More doesn't necessary do more, in fact sometimes too much can be worse. Just repeat more frequently.

The pull is not at all uncomfortable (I can hardly taste the Clove and Oregano) should I put more in or would that be wasteful and not be any more effective?

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Tooth Infection

I have had great success with Clove and Clove with Frankincense.  Also with Wintergreen (and Birch).  And also with Cassia in water (much caution needed).

I was reading where Myrrh could be effective for toothache, but in the Modern Essentials book Oregano and Clove are not listed as blending with Myrrh (though Myrrh is listed as blending with "all spice oils"). Should I add Myrrh to the oil pull blend?

Happy New Year and thanks for the advice.

Well, I'm not inclined to want to feel like a queen, let alone Liz Taylor, but I will try some Frankincense with the clove oil after I finish with the oil pull (doing it now.)

I would do the oil pull and then add in frankincense topically.

I have a tooth infection and the infection has blistered out the gum. I have been applying clove oil on a cotton ball between the cheek and gum but that is not helping as much now. Any advice? I don't want to have to resort to drugs.
